From October to June, the Hintertux Glacier guarantees snow reliability and perfect conditions for skiers and snowboarders.
Together with the Zillertal 3000 ski and glacier area – Hintertux, Eggalm, Rastkogel, Finkenberg, Mayrhofen and Ahorn – you can expect 206 kilometers of slopes , state-of-the-art lifts and breathtaking panoramas. Freestylers can have a blast in the Betterpark Hintertux , children can learn through play in the Funslope and Kidsslope, and the legendary glacier circuit offers a real adrenaline rush for experienced skiers.
Winter off the slopes means enjoyment and relaxation: 68 km of winter hiking trails, 32 km of cross-country ski trails, snowshoe hikes and illuminated natural toboggan runs ensure unforgettable moments.
More than 30 mountain huts and 50 restaurants invite you to experience Tyrolean hospitality.
Summer experience in the mountains
In summer, the Tux region transforms into an Eldorado for hikers, mountain bikers and families.
Over 350 km of hiking trails and 150 km of mountain bike and e-bike routes invite you to discover the alpine landscape – from leisurely strolls to mountain huts to challenging summit tours. The Zillertal Alps High Mountain Nature Park offers daily guided hikes where you can experience the flora, fauna, and impressive mountain scenery up close.
Families will find numerous adventures in Tux: themed trails focusing on nature, flora and fauna, Luis' glacier flea park at 3,250 m, the alpine play area on the Eggalm and Pepi's children's land offer fun and discoveries for all ages.
On the panoramic terrace of the Hintertux Glacier you can enjoy magnificent views, while the Nature Ice Palace and the Spannagel Cave offer impressive nature experiences.
