The Eggalm cable car and the entrance to the Zillertal 3000 ski area are very close by, as is the nearest ski bus stop, from which you can reach the Hintertux Glacier in just 12 minutes. Perfectly groomed slopes, modern lifts, cross-country ski trails, winter hiking paths, and fantastic snowshoe routes await you right on your doorstep. Toboggan runs and cozy mountain huts provide variety, while regional cuisine completes the winter experience. In Tux, you can enjoy a winter holiday with maximum comfort – all within easy reach.

In summer, Tux captivates visitors with its exceptionally beautiful location in the heart of the Tux Valley. From your accommodation, you can directly access an extensive network of over 350 km of hiking trails – from leisurely strolls to challenging summit tours. Crystal-clear mountain lakes, breathtaking panoramas, and rustic mountain huts are just a stone's throw away. Mountain bikers will find diverse routes nearby, and families will enjoy adventure trails and exciting natural sites. The Zillertal Alps Nature Park offers free guided tours daily for explorers of all ages. Even the Hintertux Glacier is easily accessible, offering unique experiences amidst the eternal ice. Thus, in summer, Tux combines relaxation, alpine diversity, and unforgettable adventures – all just minutes from your doorstep.

Irene & Franz Fankhauser
We, Irene and Franz Fankhauser, have been passionate hosts for many years – right here in the heart of the beautiful Tux Valley, in Lanersbach. This region is not only our home, but also our personal place of strength.
As nature lovers, we take every opportunity to be in the mountains. In winter, skiing, cross-country skiing, and ski touring are our top priorities – as soon as the weather is right, we head out into the snowy mountain world.
In summer, we dedicate ourselves to hiking and enjoy the fresh mountain air. When summer temperatures prevail in the valley, there's nothing we enjoy more than climbing to the cooler heights and letting our gaze wander over the countless peaks. Our e-bike often accompanies us all the way to the last alpine pasture – and the descent or downhill run provides the perfect end to the day.
The mountains are our element – and we love to share this enthusiasm with our guests.
